Richard Manley
Richard is a member of the Riverview Solicitors’ team.
He has particular experience in company and commercial law, advising on a range of matters, including drafting complex terms and conditions, drafting and reviewing various contracts, completing the sale and purchase of a variety of business organisations, undertaking share restructures, providing company law advice, advising on website and e-commerce legal compliance and intellectual property protection.
Clients have described him as “providing concise commercially relevant advice” in a "friendly manner, often to tight deadlines”.
After completing his law degree at the University of Liverpool and the Legal Practice Course at the College of Law, Richard joined Walker Smith Way Solicitors in Chester in 2007 as a trainee. There he gained experience and managed a variety of cases in commercial and residential property and clinical negligence. He was seconded to DTM Legal LLP Solicitors to work in their company and commercial department and qualified as a solicitor in 2009. He continued to practise there for 2 years primarily dealing with company commercial matters.
In 2011, Richard joined Maxwell Hodge Solicitors in Liverpool as a Company Commercial Solicitor where he provided general legal advice and support to business owners and directors on a variety of company, corporate and general commercial matters.
Richard lives on the Wirral and his interests are keeping fit by competing in trail running events and watching many sports, particularly motorsport, football and rugby.
